Over the years, many of my patients have asked me what I recommend as a basic supplement plan. Many people assume that they can get all of their nutrients from their diet, but our soil has been depleted of minerals from poor farming practices. Taking Core Multi will help fill in the nutrient gaps we have in our diet. Vitamins and minerals are essential for our immune system, energy production, healthy skin, hair, and bones.
Of course, taking Omega 3s, Vitamin D, Magnesium, and FloraMend Probiotics are important as well. One of the best supplements to increase cellular energy is Tru Niagen Pro 300, because it increases your NAD+ levels which fuels all of your cells.
Thorne Joint Support Nutrients work on pain and inflammation and
Euromedica”s Collagen Joint Complex provides you with Type IT Collagen
which makes up 90% of the collagen in joint cartilage.
The #1 supplement I recommend for muscle tension is Magnesium (a natural
muscle relaxant). Take with Cox-II Calm for pain and inflammation relief.
I love AlgaeCal for bone health because the calcium is plant based and better
absorbed than from a rock (citrate form). Algae Cal also contains Vitamin
D3, Magnesium, and Vitamin K2 which makes sure that the calcium gets into
the bone and not into the soft tissue (e.g. blood vessels)
If you have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis, also take Strontium Boost
with AlgaeCal which is clinically proven to increase bone density.
The two best products I recommend for sleep are Magnesium (a natural
muscle relaxant) and GABA which is a neurotransmitter that promotes
positive mood and relaxation. It is like a chill pill. We need 1000mg of
magnesium daily. Take in divided doses with the last one taken an hour
before bedtime. Take 1 GABA one hour before bedtime as well.
Do Not Take these if you are taking other sleep aids.
EuroMedica Nerve Complex supports healthy nerve function, so I recommend patients start with this product. Acetly-L-carnitine improves pain, nerve regeneration, and vibratory perception in patients with chronic diabetic neuropathy. Curcumin, Omega 3 fatty acids, and NAC can help chronic pain associated with neuropathy. Alpha Lipoic Acid helps reduce the symptoms of pain, tingling, and that prickling feeling that comes with neuropathy. It also helps with nerve damage for neuropathy.
Having suffered from severe panic attacks when I started my practice in 1993, I highly recommend Magnesium and GABA.
I like Progressive Labs Allergy Modulator because it has a significant positive effect for nasal and respiratory support. I also recommend NAC because it helps thin and dissolve mucus.
Are you tired and run down? Do you need an energy boost? I recommend Benagen, which has been scientifically proven to amplify cellular energy and slow cellular aging, and Tru Niagen, which provides NAD to the mitochondria. Mitochondria are responsible for generating 90% of the energy your body uses. I also recommend Magnesium and Core Multi to help feed your cells and keep you on the move.
